What is a free Firewood Box and why is it included?
The 1.33 cu ft Firewood Box (retail $39.60) is a clean kiln-dried hardwood bundle sized for indoor fireplaces and wood stoves. We include 1 box with the 15-bag tier and 2 boxes with the 30-bag tier so you can keep dry indoor wood ready while the pallet stays sealed outside.
Where do you deliver and how fast?
Free shipping to CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, and VT. Mega Bags ship same-day if ordered before noon ET, packaged orders arrive in 2-5 business days. Local pallet delivery is available within roughly 100 miles of Levittown, PA: all of CT, NJ, DE, NY metro through ZIP 125, and eastern PA.
Is this really USDA certified?
Yes. Every piece is heat-treated to a 160°F core temperature for 75 minutes minimum, the USDA APHIS phytosanitary standard for transporting firewood across state lines without spreading emerald ash borer, Asian longhorn beetle, or spotted lanternfly.
How long does a 30-bag pallet last me?
Depends on usage. A typical fireplace burning 2 fires per week gets 6-9 months from a 30-bag pallet. Pizza oven and fire pit owners burning weekend cookouts get 4-6 months. Daily wood stove use draws it down in 8-12 weeks. Each Mega Bag yields approx. 5-8 fires.
