Firewood Flex Mega Bag: a 1.75 cu ft sealed bag of kiln-dried hardwood, about 55 lb, cut to 16 inch splits of oak, hickory, maple, cherry, birch and walnut. It is kiln-dried to under 15% moisture and heat-treated to the USDA standard (160 F core for 75 minutes), so it is pest-free and legal to ship across state lines.

Ships free to 11 Northeast states (CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI and VT). Orders placed by noon ET ship the same business day from our Pennsylvania kilns. Outside the Northeast a small flat shipping fee is added at checkout.

One bag covers a handful of evenings at the fire pit, fireplace or wood stove and is the easiest way to try Firewood Flex or top up a stack that is running low. The 3-bag option is the better value for regular use. The logs light with one match and burn clean, with little smoke and no hissing.

How is FIREWOOD FLEX firewood delivered?

FIREWOOD FLEX ships from Pennsylvania. Free flat-rate Mega Bag and Box shipping to all 11 Northeast states (CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT). Palletized 1/4 cord and 1/2 cord deliver curbside with lift-gate in our Local Delivery Zone (all of CT, NJ, DE; NY metro through ZIP 125; eastern PA). Outside those ZIPs, packaged products ship nationwide for a fee shown at checkout.

Is it USDA certified and kiln-dried?

Yes. Every batch is heat-treated to a 160°F core for 75 minutes to the USDA APHIS standard, then moisture-tested to confirm under 15% before packaging. That certification authorizes transporting firewood across state lines.

When will my order ship?

Order before noon ET on a business day and we ship the same day from Pennsylvania. Local pallets arrive in 1-3 business days; packaged Mega Bags and Boxes arrive in 2-5 business days via freight or LTL.

Kiln-dried vs seasoned, what's the difference?

Seasoned firewood is air-dried for 6-12 months and usually tests 20-25% moisture. FIREWOOD FLEX kiln-dries every piece to under 15% moisture, so it lights with one match, burns hotter, and stores indefinitely without re-soaking.
