Firewood, reimagined. Clean firewood, responsibly sourced and kiln-dried for a better burn.

We started Firewood Flex after years of dealing with the same familiar frustrations - messy bundles, damp logs, and bark scattered everywhere by the time you got it delivered and moved it inside. It always seemed like the industry hadn't changed much. Packaging was rough, moisture levels were inconsistent, and even getting it delivered often felt like a hassle.

So we asked ourselves: what if firewood could be done differently?

That's why we built a service we would want to use ourselves. Kiln-dried wood that burns clean and easy, packed in sealed bags and boxes or neatly stacked on a pallet - tidy from warehouse to fireplace. No bark trails. No soggy logs. Just reliable, honest firewood.

We're big believers that the fire experience starts well before the match is struck. From the satisfying knock of dry logs, to the ease of unwrapping a clean, tightly packed pallet - it's the small details that matter.

Firewood Flex isn't about reinventing fire. It's about making every part of the experience a little better.

Our values

Every detail counts. That's how we like it:

  • Respect the fire. Firewood brings people together. It warms a room, cooks a meal, sets the mood. That deserves care.
  • Keep it clean. No loose bark all over your floors. No mystery logs. Just clean, dry wood packed right.
  • Be consistent. Whether it's a single bag or a full pallet, you know what you're getting every time.
  • Treat people well. We answer quickly, ship fast, and fix things if they go wrong. That's just how we work.

Our vision

We created Firewood Flex after recognizing a clear need: access to high-quality, affordable firewood shouldn't be difficult. Traditional options often come with messy, inconvenient packaging and slow, complicated ordering. Our vision is to offer a better experience - premium firewood in clean, easy-to-handle packaging, supported by a simple ordering process and fast, dependable delivery.

Our mission

Our mission is to bring ease and reliability back to every firewood experience. Whether you're heating your home, preparing an outdoor meal, or enjoying a weekend fire, we provide wood that's consistently clean, properly dried, and ready to burn. We're committed to making firewood simple, convenient, and enjoyable - every time.

Sustainability

At Firewood Flex, all of our firewood comes from responsible sources and is kiln-dried and heat-treated to the USDA phytosanitary standard (160°F / 71.1°C for 75 minutes). This process reduces moisture for a hotter, steadier flame with less smoke. Our products are pest-free, mold-free, and safe to store or transport.

Heat-treated firewood meets requirements for use across the United States, including campgrounds, parks, backyards, and outdoor adventures.

Frequently asked questions

Where do you source your wood?
All Firewood Flex hardwood comes from responsibly managed Northeast US sources. We work with regional suppliers who follow sustainable forestry practices and kiln-dry every batch in-house.

How is your firewood different from "seasoned" cordwood?
Seasoned wood is air-dried outdoors, often sitting at 20-30% moisture and full of bark, bugs, and inconsistency. Kiln-dried wood is heat-treated in a controlled chamber to under 15% moisture - it lights with one match, burns 30% hotter, and ships clean.

Where do you deliver?
Free flat-rate shipping on packaged Mega Bags and Boxes to CT, DE, DC, MA, MD, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, and VT. Local palletized delivery within 100 miles of our Levittown, PA distribution facility (NYC metro, eastern PA, NJ, DE, southern CT).

Is your firewood legal to cross state lines?
Yes. Every shipment is USDA APHIS phytosanitary certified, which clears state quarantines for emerald ash borer, spotted lanternfly, and Asian longhorned beetle. We supply the certificate on request.
