Firewood Delivery in Somerset County, NJ (Somerset Hills + Somerville)

Somerset County buys firewood in two completely different ways, and both of them come off the same truck. Down along the Raritan, Somerville, Bridgewater and Hillsborough are ordinary suburban fireplace country. North and west of the I-287 and I-78 crossing, the Somerset Hills are something else: Basking Ridge, Bernardsville, Far Hills, Peapack-Gladstone and Bedminster are horse-country addresses where a single house may run a wood stove plus two or three fireplaces, and where a season is measured in cords rather than bags.
