Firewood Delivery to Arlington and Alexandria, VA

Arlington (222) and Alexandria (223) are inside our free pallet zone. That covers Old Town, Del Ray, Rosemont, Clarendon, Ballston, Lyon Village, Shirlington and the Alexandria portion of Fairfax County that uses 223 ZIP codes. Delivery is free on every pallet, and the wood is kiln-dried so it burns clean in close-set neighborhoods.

Firewood for townhouses and tight lots

Storage is the main question inside the Beltway. A loose cord needs a rack and a dry corner, which many townhouses do not have. That is why most orders here are bagged pallets: every 1.75 cu ft Mega Bag is sealed, so you can stack them in a garage, under a deck or in a basement entry and bring one inside at a time. No bark on the floor, no insects in the house.

• 15 Mega Bag pallet, $599.90: 15 Mega Bags plus 1 Firewood Box free. The most popular size for rowhouses and townhomes.
• 30 Mega Bag pallet, $899.90: 30 Mega Bags plus 2 free Boxes, for detached homes in North Arlington or the Alexandria suburbs with a garage to fill.
• 1/4 cord pallet, $499 (regularly $555): stacked loose, 32 cu ft, for homes with a wood rack.
• 1/2 cord pallet, $799 (regularly $940): 64 cu ft for nightly fires.

Smoke and neighbors

When houses share walls or sit a few feet apart, wet wood is a problem you notice quickly. Our splits are kiln-dried to under 15% moisture, so they light fast and settle into a low-smoke burn instead of smoldering. Check your HOA or condo rules on outdoor fire pits before you light one; many Arlington and Alexandria associations limit open flames on balconies.

Getting a pallet to your door

• Delivery takes 3 to 7 days from order.
• The carrier calls ahead, the day before or about an hour before arrival, so you can move cars or open the garage.
• The truck sets the pallet down with a liftgate at the curb or on the driveway. On narrow Old Town streets, a curbside drop is the norm; plan a couple of trips to carry bags inside.
• Minimum order is one pallet.
